Ise-no-mikoto Shrine [Okinoshimacho]
An ancient rite with bewitching dance all night
Listed as a shrine of note on oldest list of shrines in all of Japan, this shrine has a long history. Many people attend the annual festival in July, "Kumi Kagura", in which dedication is held a night that has a unique atmosphere all its own. It has been designated an intangible folk cultural asset by the prefecture.
