Onimai Lookout [Nishinoshimacho]
Stunning views from the mountain where "devils" dance
In Nishinoshima, strong winds are called 'oni' (devils), so this place was given the name Onimai, meaning "Devils Dance". At the lookout atop the hill, you can see the entire landscape of the Dōzen Caldera and the central pyroclastic cone Mt. Takuhi, as well as compare the gentle landscape of the inland sea with the rough terrain of the Sea of Japan.
