The southernmost lighthouse of the Oki Islands

Chiburijima Lighthouse is located on a hill on the east side of the island, and is a great off-the-beaten-path spot to view the idyllic landscape of Shimazushima Island, see the sun setting over Mt. Akahage, and the lights of squid fishing boats, known as isaribi.
