The different landscapes between the gates

At this shrine, where beautiful white sand beaches stretch before your eyes, is a Japanese black pine forest with trees over 350 years old, also known as "Equinox Forest". If you go on the Spring or Autumn Equinox, you can feel the inspiration the moment the sun rises directly in the middle of the gate. You can also see strange sights such as the epiphytic southern plant Nagoran on the black pines and the northern rugosa roses in bloom on the coast.
